'Stitch'

Porcelain is traditionally used in lighting because of its translucent quality. Annette has added black stain to the material to block the light from radiating outwards or ‘through’ the porcelain and glazed the inside to redirect the light. A soft pool of light is directed downwards whilst the outside of the shade features the beautifully stitch detail.
